WIN has more than 1,300 talented and professional staff and contractor interpreters which makes it possible
for us to provide thousands of hours of service each month, enabling us to meet
the needs of the deaf & hearing communities effectively and efficiently. While
our professionals work primarily in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and West Virginia,
we can provide interpreters anywhere in the continental United States. Although
we specialize in American Sign Language, we also offer interpreters for more than

WIN has spent years recruiting the most reputable interpreters, so you can be assured
of professional service. All of our interpreters are licensed, insured,
and have passed background checks. Most WIN associates are certified
through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf,
and ALL are bound by the
RID Code of Professional Conduct, which ensures confidentiality for all assignment related
information. When requesting an interpreter, please indicate if your job requires
a certified interpreter.
WIN interpreters have extensive experience, including interpreting in specialized
fields such as healthcare, law, government agencies, public meetings, education
and the scientific community. We work hard to find interpreters who will be an effective
match for your needs. Our interpreters are rated, as is each job, and they are matched
accordingly. Repeat customers have the option of requesting specific interpreters
they've enjoyed working with in the past. We encourage feedback from our clients
and use it to continually improve our services.
WIN has interpreters available to work, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days
a year. Although we request 3 days notice for our basic rate, WIN interpreters
can be on site (for an additional charge) within one hour of placing your interpreting
request. After hours, there is an emergency on-call number for those situations
needing immediate service, and emergency fees apply. Please see our

Our online management program is available to all WIN clients at no charge. Each
customer has a unique log-on password for the website. You can access your account
to place requests, check on the status of previous requests, receive biographical
information on interpreters assigned to your event and provide feedback to WIN and
your interpreter. Requests can also be placed by phone to our courteous office staff
Monday through Friday.
